"The wrong choices will never lead you to the right place"

This quote means that if you do wrong you will never feel or be right. The wrong choices will never take you to the right place you must make right choices to lead you to the right place. If you make wrong decisions to try to lead you to the right place you will never reach it no matter how many times you try. You must always choose the right if you ever hope of being in the right place. For example, if you cheat to get a good score on a test you will most likely get caught and it will make you fail and if you don't, you know in your heart that you failed. The only true way to make it to the place you want is by choosing the right. 

Ear, Nose, And Throat Doctor 

Duties and responsibilities: An ear, nose and throat doctor, or an otolaryngologist, is a physician trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders related to the structure of the head and neck, They are commonly called an ENT physician. 

Salary: $205,000

Education: To become an ENT doctor you will need to take courses of biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics. You will need, in addition to this you need to complete four years of an ENT residency program. 

Demand: There is expected to be a significant boost in jobs for all physician specialties and surgery over the next few years. ENTs are expected to grow as over 35 million americans suffer from sinus related conditions every year. 

"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy"

Obedience is what will help you succeed in life. Being obedient will make you feel happy because you are being good and choosing the right, because you are happy you will be grateful nd succeed more than others. If you are not obedient then like people always say what goes around comes around. If you are obedient you will be happy and richer in what really matters, the goodness of your heart. The more you choose the right the better life will be for you. 

LAUSD Student Services

LAUSD has many services available to students. An example of one of these programs is Pupil Services, they help ensure that all students are enrolled, attending and on-track to graduate. Every school provies a program for their students, it may be an after school program or a before school program, but it provides one. This is great because it gives students oppurtunities to rise above and become better than others. The harder you work and the more you choose the right, the more successful you will become. 

"Choosing the right is always the right thing to do"

In life there are always many decisons you will have to make, this is obvious, and there will always be a good  decision and a bad one. Yes, it is true that sometimes the bad way is easier but that does not change the fact that it is bad. If you do bad you will feel bad if you do good you will feel good. That it is so important to always choose the right because above all the most important thing is how you are as a person and your decisions determine who you are. If you do bad then you will be seen as a bad person, but if you do good you will be seen as a good person. Being a good person will always help you in life so remember to choose the right. 

Dermatologist 

Duties and responsibilities: A Dermatologist is a medical doctor that diagnoses and treats ailments of the skin. They sometimes use diagnostic techniques such as biopsies to identify diseases and to determine treatments. There are different areas including cosmetic dermatology, pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology, or the study of skin diseases.  

Salary: $285,000

Education Requirements: To become one you must first  obtain a bachelor's degree, taking courses in english, math, inorganic, and organic chemistry, physics and biology. Then you must complete medical school and work with hospital patients under supervision of staff doctors. Medical school is then followed by a one year internship, three years of on the job training as a medical resident, a state licensing exam and, certification by the American Board of Dermatology. 

Demand: The demand for this profession is seen to increase by around 14 percent over the next ten years.

I do not see myself taking on this career in my future. For the past few days I have been researching different careers that might interest me in order to see what i might want to become and this is one of the careers i would put on my "No List". 

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player"

This qoute is by John Wooden a basketball player and a coach. He was able to make his team better as people which then made them better basketball players. His team was able to win 88 games in a row, which is almost three complete seasons. His team was good not because he told them win, win, win, but because he taught them how to be better people. This does not go for only basketball players this goes for everyone in a sport. It is always better to be a great person instead of being a great player, for whatever sport you play. You must always remember to have sportsmanship and to choose the right. 

Dietitian 

Duties and Responsibilities: Dietitians assess a patient's or client's health needs and diest. They counsel patients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits. They also help develop meal plans for each patient, depending on their needs.  

Salary: $55,240

Education: In order to become credentialed as a registered dietitian you require a bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition or a related field from an accredited university. In order to get certification you are recommended to take high-level courses in biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, culinary arts and nutrition science. 

Demand: In the next ten years the average amount of dietitians will increase by 22 percent due to all the obesity that is occurring now in America.

After researching this profession I feel like this is something I might want to become because I want to try to be more healthy as well as help others be more healthy themselves. I feel like if tell others to be healthy I should not be unhealthy. 

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse"

In order for one to be wealthy, truly wealthy, one needs to do good. True wealth is not money, it is not about having the biggest house or the biggest bank account, it is about having the biggest heart. If one wishes to be happy and wealthy they must always choose the right. It wont matter if you have a lot of money if you are sad. Money will never remove the sadness from your heart, the only thing that can do that is choosing to do good. When you choose the right it is like you are depositing to your heart. The more good you do the happier and wealthier you will become. Remember physical things dont last what does is the kidness in your heart, if you choose the right. 

Dental Assistant

Duties and responsibility: Dental assistants prepare the patient for examination and treatment and work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. After the patients is gone they sterilize and disinfect the instruments and equipment. Some assistants also take dental x-rays, as directed by the dentist. 

Salary: $34.500

Education: To become a dental assistant you must first complete a state board approved Registered Dental Assistant program or 15 months of dental assistant work experience. In addition they also require a course in basic life support approved by the ARC or AHA. 

Demand: Dental assistant jobs are projected to grow by 18 percent in the next ten years.

As I am researching careers to see what I would like to become i came across a dental assistant. I looked more into the profession but so far I do not think I will become one. I guess I just dont want to work with teeth for the rest of my life. 

"You cannot do wrong and feel right, It is impossible"

You may look happy but inside you know you are not. Years can be wasted with moments of false gratification. If you are not doing the right thing, if you dont chose the right, you will never  truly be happy. If you  do the wrong thing, say you cheat to get what you want you may look happy but inside you wont. It will never be real happiness unless it comes from yourself. You can avoid the pain but that doesnt mean its gone, you will always have that inside of you, unless you choose the right. We must do the right thing in order to live happy lives, remeber to always choose the right.

Dentist

Duties: Dentists promote oral health and disease prevention. They create treatment plans to maintain or if possible restore the oral health of their patients. They also interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. When they operate on teeth, bone, and or soft tissue they must ensure the safe administration of anesthetics. 

Salary: $ 158,810

Education: To become a dentist you must obtain a bachelor's degree prior to entering dental school. In addition taking biology, anatomy, chemistry, and microbiology classes are recomended. In total it would take around eight years. 

Demand: The demand for dentist has decreased slightly but, in the next ten years the dentistry business is seen to increase by 18 percent. 

Choosing what you will do for the rest of your life is difficult, or atleast for me it has been. I am still in highschool so I have time, but not so much. I am discovering what I want my profession to be and after researching this job I dont see myself doing this. Others might disagree and thats fine it is all about what you want to become. For mr that job has not come yet.

This quote is by Abraham Lincoln and is saying that depending on what you do with your life, you will feel different. If you choose the wrong inside you will feel the pain, you will feel bad. If you choose the right then you will feel good, you will be happy. You must always remember that if yuo do bad things bad things will happen to you, if you do good good things will happen. It is always best to do the right thing, to help where you can. If you just choose the right your lif ewill be full of prosperity and happiness. If you decide to not choose the right, you choose the wrong you will not be happy, you will have to live your life in sadness. You must do good to feel good. 

 Chiropractor

Duties and responsibilities: Chiropractors diagnose, treat and prevent mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. They also look at the effect the disorder has on your functions and general health. They aim to relieve the pain in a patient in order to restore them to full mobility. Treatments can involve applying pressure at specific joints to release pain.

Salary: $66,160

Education: In order to becom one you must recieve a doctoral or professional degree and a doctor of chiropractic degree of a chiropractic degree.
Demand: jobs are expected to grow faster than other occupations Through the next ten years.

As I was researching this profession i was thinking whether or not I would like to become one or not and I have concluded tha ti do not wish to become one. Yes, it pays well but i dont feel like i would like to do this for the rest of my life.

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have"

The freedom you have is all up to you and obedience is the key to that. You must decide to either obey or do what’s right or disobey and do what’s wrong. The decisions you make are all up to you, but if you do the wrong thing it will affect you in the future, maybe sooner than you think. The more obedient you are the more freedom you will have. The more you disobey the less freedom you will have. If you know what the right thing is then do it, you decide how your life goes don’t let others sway your decision. You must do what’s right for you and everyone, you must obey. Remeber to always choose the right when you make decisions. 

9/11, Remember

On September 11, 2001, 19 suicide bombers from the Islamic group al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial planes and carried out their suicide attacks against in the United States. Hitting the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon, in Washington D.C Of the four planes two hit the twin towers, one the Pentagon and the last in a field in Pennsylvania. Over 3,000 people were killed during this tragic event, which triggered major U.S. initiatives against terrorism. This was a dark day for all of the United States, lots of people were lost, and we were definitely defeated that day. We were knocked down, but that is not the moment that we will remember, we will remember what we did after, how we got back up. What we do to recover what was lost; obviously somethings can never be recovered, to make sure this never happens again, this is what we need to remember. Take a moment to process what happened and be happy for what we have today.

Thomas S. Monson Pt.2

In the previous post I talked about a quote from Thomas S. Monson which was about obedience and how it was the test of life. When he was young he came across a big decision. Him and his friend decided to have a camp fire but the field was full of weeds. They knew it would take all day to remove what was needed so they decided to make a fire then and there. By setting the weeds on fire the space to make the actual fire would be there. So he disobeyed his parents and got matches, then lit one and burned the weeds. At first they were delighted that they were getting burned but then they realized, how is it going to extinguish. The fire spread and they panicked they didn't know what to do until they just started to yell out for help. The neighbors luckily heard the screams and ran to help it took everyone but the were able to put out the flames. This is only one of the many decisions everyone has to make, disobeying can lead to very severe consequences, that could not only affect you but can affect everyone around you. Make sure you remember to choose the right. 

"Obedience is the great test of life" Pt.1

This quote by Thomas S. Monson can be interpreted many ways and yes it is true. Whether or not to be obedient is up to you, some times its a good thing sometimes its not. The decision is all up to your judgement. Whether you choose to be obedient to good people or bad is up to you. Everyday you come across many decisions, its a pass-fail test, a yes or no answer. If you are obedient to the wrong person then is being obedient good? You must ask yourself what do you want to become and from that decide who do you want to be like. The decisions you make today determine your life tomorrow, make sure you are following the right person that will make you a leader. 

"Education is the latch key to success in life"

This quote is telling you that in order to succeed in life you must obtain knowledge. In life without a good education you will not make it, unless you win the lottery. If you stick to school it will eventually pay off, going to school means you have a higher chance of succeeding than someone who didn't. The more talent you have the more job offers you'll get. That will help you make a lot of money. That is why school is so important. if you stick to school you will have an advantage over others. That is the latch key to success, knowledge and education.
