Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities: When you become an EMT depending on your training you will have different duties. There are five levels in total and each involves additional training the higher the level. There are basic things that every EMT is responsible for such as: patient assessment, burn management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, emergency birth assistance, and extrication of patients from dangerous situations. They also need to be service oriented, socially aware, and have a background in science.  

Salary: $ 31,700

Education: To become a certified EMT you must go through approved training programs, you also may need an associate's degree if you wish to become a EMT of a higher level.

Demand: The outlook for this profession looks good, throughout the next few years the jobs are expected to increase by 24%.

 This profession seems quite interesting. I believe I might continue researching this career. It is simply to become one but it doesnt get paid that much, never the less this might be a career I choose.
