Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: An Environmental Health Specialist assists in staff training, coordinates work groups, provides high quality service to county employees, and they may be asked to perform functions of lower level class in this series.  
Salary: $59,372 
Education: To become one you will require a Bachelor's degree and occupational health, safety or a comparable scientific discipline. You will also require voluntary certification through professional organizations, 
Demand for this profession: For people who want to be in this profession things are looking good. It is projected that the number of jobs for this profession will increase by eleven percent throughout the next ten years.
For me this job doesn't look all that interesting I'm sure there are others that will disagree but me, personally, don't like this job. I do not see myself doing this in the future.
