Duties and responsibilities: A Pharmaceutical Scientist identifies new compounds that help treat diseases. They administer the new drug to animals and humans to make sure it is safe and effective. In addition they also produce the new drug in large quantities for distribution. 
Salary: $104,000 - $210,000
Education: In order to become one you must acquire complete graduate and postgraduate degrees, such as, Master of Science, Master of Public health, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy, or Doctor of philosophy. Of course you must also be interested in this field, have good communicating skills and stay motivated with your team.  
Demand: It has been projected that this career will have an eight percent growth throughout the next decade. 
This profession seems quite interesting, I might consider following this path. It only takes roughly four to six years and pays quite well.
