Homecoming

Homecoming is a an annual tradition in the united states. High schools and colleges come together usually in early October to welcome back alumni and former residents. They usually build it around a big event, such as a, football game. At homecoming there are also many things happening like for example parades, half time shows, dances, or a banquet. It all started in a school in Missouri when the decided to invite all their alumni to attend the first "coming home game". After the homecoming game there is usually a homecoming dance where the students can attend and have a good time. You should be well dressed and have good clothes. In my opinion i think homecoming is something that you must experience at least once in your high school years.
