“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

I agree with the statement the sixteenth president of the united states, Abraham Lincoln, said. He is saying that he will not always win even if he tries his best but he will always be honest and truthful and never cheat to win. He also, then, says that he will stand with everyone who believes the same thing he does. He will help anyone who is doing right but once they begin to do wrong he will not help that person anymore. An example of this is if you were to be hanging out with your friend who always chooses the right but he is stressed about a test they and he starts choosing the wrong by cheating. Right then you cannot be friends with him anymore because he is not choosing the right and you cannot help someone who makes wrong decisions willingly. You must be strong willed and never give up you can never be tempted to do wrong because the only thing you truly are bound to is to be true.
